Oh, I think you mean the suspension arm? I'm guessing around 12mm front and 13mm rear.

wow, that is a pretty big difference! so the fk is about 2cm shorter in width thant the evo. thanks for letting me know. ive got to try some of those little arms now.

nooo...the track is still the same, you mount the short arms on the outside of the bulkheads and the long arms on the inside of the bulkhead....the track still remains the same (185 or somet, i dunno)

marshalv it doesn't change anything other than handling. Have you got the low ratio set yet? I think better get that 1st.

why is the low gear so important? does it come stock on the fk?

yes it comes stock on the fk, I recommend you get it if you intend to race, Precision RC is the cheapest i have found it.

i think they just freeup the transmission, also you run smaller pinions/bigger spurs because of the lowered ratio...

how do the short arms effect the handling.im looking to have a very aggressive feel. might i want to try a one way up front? i run on an indoor asphalt track, 100'x50'. what tires too.

do you know how many teeth are on the low ratio gears? or the size of the gears? im wondering if i already have one. this car has lots of upgrades. i bought it used.

I think its 17 on the layshaft and I know its 32 on the diff gears.

The original ratio pulleys were 34T for the diffs, 16T on the top shaft. The low ratio pulleys use 32T on the diffs, and 18T on the top shaft.

It lightens the drive train more. Plus the lower transmission ratio helps the car accelerate alot faster.

It bends the belt at a less aggressive arch. Therefore it free's the drivetrain up.

Shorter suspension arms = more aggressive feel when cornering, so that's why the new factory kit use shorter arms.

edit: btw, shorter arms are good for tight tracks and chicanes.
