Does that mean the production trucks have landed?

Rain is supposed to come tonight so you should be good today. After tonight you will have to suffer and go indoor!

Well yes and no. They are in port. However, they still need to clear customs and get on a truck over here. Then we have to cross ship half of them to IL and then we can ship from both warehouses, lol. So, it will likely be the end of next week when they ship to dealers/customers.

Oh I charged that pack last night... Weird results, I put 2750mah back into the pack after 8 minutes. Not sure why the other pack read over 3000mah for just 6 minutes.

That is weird. Maybe just record again the next time you go out. It is weird though.

When I able to get my 40T and top brace/ bottom spacer hole filler I'm gonna through in a 1410 to see what I can put it through.

Well, just got back running both the 1410 and the 1415 and they both ran strong. The 1410 looks so small in the truck but it went great. I geared it at 15/40 and it came off at 162 after 7 minutes. The 1415 was very strong, I geared it at 18/40 and it came off at 138. I could have gone up a tooth but I'm just looking for a good place to start and I think I found it. Both were run with the xcelroin 2s 6000 60c pack.

Wait a sec Ryan,

The smaller (1410) motor was geared higher (18/40) than the "550" 1415 (15/40) and the 1410 was cooler??? This sounds backwards, or are these motors just crazy. Were they both ran on 2 cell?

The 1410 is a beast. It makes sense that it could have run cooler than the 1415. Larger motors can sometimes run hotter than smaller motors if the larger motor doesn't have enough load on it. This is why mfg's tell you not to run your motor full bore on the bench when it isn't hooked up.

I ran a 1515 sized Neu Motor in one of my buggies a few years ago and it ran hotter than the 1512. There just wasn't enough load on the motor so it ran hot. However, as soon as I put that same motor in my truggy, it ran ice cold on a 90 degree day.

I edited as I had the 1410 and 1415 mixed up, lol. You all understood me though, haha.

Sounds like he got them backwards to me. The 1415 is .5" longer than the 1410.

These are the motors that come with the Castle SCT combos.

1410 is the smaller (540ish) motor that comes with the sidewinder SCT

The 1415 is the larger (550ish) motor that comes with the MMP SCT

That would be why I didn't know, I don't run Castle products. Anybody have good luck with the Novak 550 motor.

We have been using the Novak motor a lot and it is doing well. The Tekin 550 is strong as well.
