Man those bodies sure do look a lot like Protoform bodies. Dale Epp is going to have a fit (and rightfully so) when he sees this.

According to my sources the bodyshells will retail at £13.99 here in the UK. Considering they come with 3 wings I think that price is excellent.
They do look similar to PF shells but there are quite alot differences when you compare them in person.

I think you'll have to look for aluminium turnbuckles if you want a better colour match. I have never seen titanium anodised like the HPI purple.

Of course they're going to look similar, they're based on exactly the same car! I think £13.99 is a great price given that most shells are £17.99 and only come with the 1 wing.

Regarding turnbuckles, the HPI ones have always been that colour, personally I don't think they look too bad either.

Where do you guys buy your Hara Twister 2.1? I just sold my Twister 2.0 and I need another one now. Is Tower Hobbies good to order for an international order? I saw they have a $20 coupon for $149USD and up order and the Hara Twister 2.1 is only priced at $133 so I can just buy other stuff to meet that coupon price. Are they reliable? Thanks.

Looking similar is one thing...but if they are identical save for a few molding lines...thats something else entirely.

TFR:
I bought all 3 of my 2.1's from Tower... sometimes it's $25.00 coupon for $149 order...
I've never had any problems from Tower..
great customer service.

As for Turnbuckles... I found some..
Tech Racing makes some in various colors and sized that will match the Surikarn and Hara perfectly. dark blue and purple.
approx $6.00 pr.
unfortunately they are made of aluminum..

I believe that you can use the rear diff for the cyclone in the front

Thanks.

Are you done with your Pro 3 yet? Want to see some pictures of that. How about your AH12?

I just got some Xenon purple turnbuckle from Speedtech for my AH12, its aluminum but its the perfect purple color.

everything except for the pulleys..
you'll have to add like 3mm of shims on each side of the outdrives..
probably cheaper to buy cyclone outdrives than adding shims.

Yer thought Id leave that out, I personally feel like thats abit of a bodge. It would be more beneficial to use the proper cyclone outdrives IMO.
I recomend using the new aluminium outdrives as they are cheaper than the kit 1s and build a much better diff.
