Default wrong plug?

hi,
currently facing some problems with my nosram RS12 sp engine...25%trinity.
engine shimmed correctly for 25%.

engine runs fine when using nosram#7 plug but the plug doesn't lasts!
the plug wire will get broken; compression too high? it's shimmed correctly i'm sure. tuning too lean? temp is about 110degC and smoke is visible when throttle.

tried a couple of nosram#7 plugs and still happens, plug wire broken (tried riching but still happens!)

bought a couple of IDM#6 plugs to try and now the plug stays good, wire looks shiny and wet. but the engine will stall easily...with nosram plug, it'll not stall.

what could be wrong? plug or tuning? maybe both?!

any suggestions?

you have gone from a 7 plug to a 6. there will be some tuning needed .
i have had others have the same problem with nosram plugs. if the picco plugs fit, then also try a ninja 6 plug. i run them in my JL , they work fine.

yup, tried tuning when switching plugs but still same...

down here couldn't get hold of any picco or ninja plugs at all.
is sirio plug suitable? or OS?

Same problem here. i was told its to rich. The carbon will build up because its to wet to burn off. i leaned mine out & problem gone!

Noram = LRP. LRP plugs are crap and so are the Nosram, so don't waste your money on them.

IDM plugs are Sirio plugs and usually work pretty good.

I ran my IDM Picco on a very tight track recently and it kept stalling in the infield because it was loading up too much.

Usually Piccos need a very rich bottom end, but when the infield is very tight, it can be too much and you have to lean it a bit on the bottom.

Your head clearance seems ok for 25% and the IDM #6 is also ok.

It could also be a clutch problem.
