does anyone run 1/12
I am thinikng aboug purchasing a 1/12 scale car. I've found a good deal on a trinity switch blade, and am just not really sure about it. I plan to run it at my local track (so cal raceway) with a hacker brushless system, and running 6 cells, but smaller than sub C to keep the weight down. I was thinking about maby cp 1300's or something like that. Any coments or hints on anything? Thank you for the help

There is a 1/12 scale forum. I don't know if you can run a 1/12 with 6 cells, most use 4. All I can say is it will be ballistic with 6 cells brushless. I couldn't controll it.

So Cal doesn't have a 1/12 scale racing class, probably from lack of interest. I bring my 1/12 scale there every so often just for practice. It's a great way to hone your driving skills, but it can be really frustrating to drive at first.
4 cell is the way to go. 6 cell 1/12 scale cars are bullets and So Cal's outside wall isn't very forgiving.

Have you tried the 1/12 scale tourer by Yokomo? Instead of a pan car, you have independent suspension. Four cells also. This is a class that might be up and coming.

I also saw something about a mini from X-ray. It looked almost exactly like the one from yokomo.
This is the link, it worked yesterday, but it doesnt seem to be working right now.

I know that there's no racing class, but I saw one there the other day and it was awsome. Seeing something so small go so fast. I just need to decide between a used bloody red six pack and a rc12l3. Any advice. I can get a rc12 cheaper though. thanks for the help. I'd use four cells, but I've gotten rid of my brushed stuff and all I have is my brushless, and I can't go down to 4 cells on a hacker.
