Hi I'm a rookie at cutting RC bodies!
My question is:
What is the best diameter to cut the wheel wells with a circle cutter? (if one is thinking about entering a race event)
I Have a Protoform Dodge stratus 3.1, and I use Xceed foam tires.

Just use the cutout lines provided on the body, and check to see if the wheels (at maximum diameter) hit the body, or able able to catch the body at all. Then just enlarge it where it is needed.

As far as I remember, there aren't any rules stating how large the wheel wells are allowed to be - it's more or less common sense not to make them INCREDIBLY large (it would just look wierd!)

64mm should be fine, after you cut them, place the body on the car and see how it fits. With the front wheels, turn the wheels and push the body to see if there is any possibility of the body being collected by the wheels, Same goes for the back end - push the sides in and see if it gets collected by the wheel as it rotates.

That test should also be done with the suspension fully compressed to the ground !!!

And with tyre diameters too.. Full are around 64, we start at 62 rear and 60 front.
