I won't be racing but I may be there, you never know. I haven't figured out my summer schedule yet. Going to the ROAR race in N.C., I think, but that's all I know so far.

Why not a semi-official coverage of all the races you can't personally attend? People will post pictures of the races anyway in the forum, you can choose the best ones for the actual article and ask the people that took the pictures for captions or short reports on the racing overall.

Hmmm....no other site does this I'm sure...

I will most likely take some digital photos of the cars. In the evenings, I'll post them.

Frank: That is something I'd love to do. In fact I have done it before with the Snowbirds, which I haven't been able to get out to. Two years ago I had Kraig calling me with live updates from the 'Birds and BigDogRacing sending me photos and video. It worked out pretty well.

So yea, if anybody wants to supply the forums with pictures, I am more than happy to do some real coverage of an event.

What would actually be totally awesome is if, in addition to the photos, somebody could grab the results off of Autoscore (which I assume is being used) after each round and put them on a disk and email it to me.

Just tell Scotty that Shane needs the results for R/C Tech and give him a disk and he'll know what to do.

Between that and you guys submitting pictures, I should be able to do a full set of semi-live results (nightly) for the race. That would be great.

Might want to post a solicitation of photos and short (50-100 word) reviews of the racing in the forums or on the front page.

If this works out, you'll have a whole new bunch of work to do on the site as the season ramps up!
