Default Reedy TC Race of Champions

The entry form is up! Event is at the Tamiya USA HQ in Aliso Viejo, CA. Sign up quick, from what I remember last year, it closed out fast!

Mine is already in the mail! I wish they would cut the number of tires for qualifying to 2 sets though. It defeats half the purpose of a control tire to allow a new set for every run. Plus, it would cut the cost down a little.

I could do the RC-X/NORRCA/Reedy triple-combo of events in May, and just make it a month-long trip out west. Not sure how well that would go over in the office here, but maybe I'll pitch it to them anyway.

I already took a week off for ROAR, I'm going to the NORRCA Carpet Nats this weekend, and I am going to try and head over to NC later this summer for the other ROAR race, not to mention the big Kyosho race in St. Louis, which I think is in August.

Sounds like you will be extremely busy. If you make it out to the Reedy Race, it will be all worth it.

Yea, I am already insanely busy, just with web stuff and work.

Plus, it seems that when I do get out to the big races, I am so burnt out from everything else that I end up in the Q Main. It's still a blast, though.

If there is one outdoor race that you must go to during the course of the year, it is definately the Reedy Race at Tamiya America. Futureal, I don't know if you've ever been to the TA track with the amount of traction during the Reedy...but once you have, you'll be completely spoiled hehe

From what I heard last year, they awarded very last place with a brand new FT TC3. But don't count on me driving slow to win some shwag and bragging rights

Too bad no one-ways again...gotta go build another diff

But you are already running a TC3 derivation, the Evo3! So in a sense, you did come in last somewhere.

I am confident that I could do better than last place, free car or not! haha

I have been to the TA track but I have never raced there. Same with SoCal. Last time I was in the area I stopped by a few of the facilities just to check them out.

I heard rumors that Mike and some others were looking at having a 4 cell class as a trial event (to slow down the cars). Is there any one that has more info, or was it just lost in the wind?

P.S. I will be there again, hopefully a bit better finish this time.

See ya there

Bending Corners -

Unless the race format has been changed from past years:
#1, the confirmation letters do not come out for quite some time,

#2 - the total race entries are 200 , 40 for the invitational drivers, leaving 160 for the open class, so lets do our math here....160-15 = 145.
