I'm running mine box stock for my first race to see how it does. Then I'll make changes from there. Already have the center diff and 100k ready just in case.

I was actually getting the car to wheelie...lol... have to figure it out..I will post some pictures of the car soon..this thing is a blast to drive. Going to mess with suspension a bit..

Only ran it for about 10 minutes... motor was warm, but not hot... I am sure if I ran it hard the motor would get hot.. I plan on putting in a smaller pinion..I have it sitting on the bench waiting..I just want to open her up one time.

Really like the paint job - sweet ride

I've had my GTP2e for about 2 months now, after having only traxxas off road stuff, and 2 Ofna JL10e's. The difference in durability, enjoyment of driving, realism by moving up to 1/8th from 1/10th is amazing. The little JL10e's are fun, but I couldn't call them durable by any stretch. Whereas the GTP2e I can hardly believe is from the same mfg. I only parking lot bash, but with the price, vs. durability vs. performance, I feel like I'm getting away with something in owning the GTP2e

Thanks everyone for contributing to this thread, it's really been helpful.

Tried to post a pic of my ride here, but I guess I don't have enough posts yet. Won't even let me include a quote that includes a an image link (had to edit the code to take out the links - sheesh!), like the one I'm commenting on - and I've bought vehicles off this forum?! - oh well.

I am really impressed with all the recent paint jobs I'm seeing here. Long live the rattle can. What colors are you guys using?

I used all Pactra rattle cans. Indy silver, fluorescent green and sprint white to back it all.
