I know this comes at a strange time, with the imminent release of the new Corally touring car, But I wont be racing corally products in the future.
I have accepted an offer to join Team Schumacher's venture into the Australian market.
I'd like to send out a thankyou to the guys from Hoby Express, for their support over the past couple of years and the Australian Corally team drivers...
I will look forward to racing you all soon from the other side..
I will pop in from titme to time, but you will catch me on the Schumacher thread...
Cheers G-Man

Hi everyone
Just got home from the Australian off road nats. i did not see the Corally triple c buggy, but i did see a prototype corally truck, it made the A main, but the driver was pretty ordinary.
It looked really nice, really low shocks, and slammed body, could be interesting when finished.
We wanted to take some photos, but they would not let anyone close enough.

See one of our Corally C4.1's fly down under...
While at the 2002 Australian Off Road Nationals, we had some fun on the next door velodrome with one of our Corally C4.1's, we estimated the speed to be around 80kph (350m in 16secs)
Motor was an Orion 8x1 with Corally 3000 hv cells, 45mm roll out.We wanted a bigger roll out but it was not possible on the day. The body was a protoform Volvo S60, on the first lap out the air got under it and the car flipped...no damage though!
We plan to break 100kph with a Corally(with 6cells and std motor), we will do this on the Velodrome used for the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Banked Oval C4.1 Video Clip- fast fly by - 700k
Banked Oval C4.1 Video Clip 1 lap with crash - 2mb
Banked Oval C4.1 Video Clip 3 laps - 4mb

BK - the footage is pretty impressive, but it was better from where we were standing on the bank.
I think you need some belted tyres, the sound of those ones were a bit worrying.
the corally truck finished 7th after qualifying 6th, i kept getting hammered at the start of the mains, but i got a good 4th in the third final.

no debut for the in progress Corally Tourer at the Worlds is the latest news, this is most likley a good move, it means that Corally is not rushing things.

Team Corally had indicated that they were trying to get the car ready for the Worlds but as it turned out there was not enough time to complete the chassis and perform sufficient testing so it was decided that it was prudent not to bring the unproven car to the Worlds.
I have not heard any other info other than what is here on this thread about the design of the car or it's release date.
I just know that I am hangin out for it big time!! Except I really like my C4.1 at the moment, but I am sure one glance at the new car will make it too much to resist!

Personally, I don't see why they're concerned about taking an unproven car to the worlds. Do they feel they have a shot at the worlds with the C4.1 and only two main team drivers.
I know the C4.1 is good, but with only two main drivers, how much of a chance do they really have?
So why not bring out the new ride.....couldn't hurt!
