hi mike: i dont know if you've posted somthing on this before but hope you can help me out. i was just wondering what a good starting set would be for the rc12L3 on an outdoor asphalt, medium bite track. white tire combos, suspensions settings, body would be a good starting point? thanks!

Chris Reilly – There is a foam tyre asphalt setup on the AE website, it is worth a try. The link is http://www.rc10.com/racerhub/setup/r...alian_2002.pdf

Hope that helps.

E-volo.. Looser front diff will make it turn better getting into the corner but not so good center and out... I usually run my front diff tighter then my rear if that helps.... As for the 1/12th scale sometimes when i can not get the car to rotate through the center i will put a .020 shim under the front ball of the t-bar...

Wency_TA03R-PRO .. I wish i could help you more.. But what everyone said on here is what i would try.. But i think there might be a problem somewhere in the speedo...

crACkeD ChaSsiS.. If you are going to race .. I would get a graphite chassis for sure.. It will be less flexy and lighter....

Chris Reilly.. Nope... I was on vacation .... Now time to get ready for the worlds and the Gas nat's,.... :-)

teamatlas... With IRS pod plates i run #2 up with a 1.88 tire....

ROBORAT .. Here is my setup from the nat's in portland...

Front End... .018 front springs with TRinity red stuff for dampening.. 3 deg caster -1 deg camber alittle toe out 10 degree block... T-bar .063 t-bar with all three screws in the t-bar 40 wt oil in the shock with the green spring... Double pink fronts and pink rears.. Tire size 1.74 fronts and 1.88 rears.. Protoform speed 12 body... If i left anything out let me know ...

JoshR 85.. I run 767's with + cut on the positve and - cut on the Negative with purple springs or stiffer... he negative cut you do side ways....

Hope I could help..

Mike

Hey!!!

Thanx Mike, did you have to gear it at real high roll out or no???
and also would you happen to know if alum. diffs will slow your lap times down from the plastic diffs??? and last question will the double pink orange, and double pinks wear faster then the orange purple, purple because they're softer or no, just wondering cause everyones saying go to them and i might pck up a tenth because they stick better because they're softer??? good luck at the world and gas nats.
