You will be able to update the firmware if you have the update cable. have a look at the firmware changelist here: http://spintec.nl/ICC_Firmware_History.txt

I'm not sure if you would be able to send your ICC to spintec for a hardware upgrade though, the new hardware has dual fans, better cooling, and generally is more reliable

If you guys know what you know today about Spintec ICC charger and the company, would you buy one? Would you buy something else and which charger would you buy? Are there any other ICC charger(s) beside Spintec?

I'm thinking of getting one but it appears everyone is not happy with it. Is it the original BLUE version that everyone is having problem with and that the BLACK version is working just find?

Let me know please before I make the purchase or not?

I am still happy with my original blue unit still works fine, the only issues I have had are when I try to charge a set cells that hve been bent in a crash, Mine has been upgraded to the latest firm ware and works good

Things have been going slow w/ spintec... last update was like may of this year... and last firmware update was more than a year ago...
