Default Help!Help! How to setting Novak kinetic?

To all:
My name is Kai from Taiwan.
I do have some troubles about setting kinetic.
My first test use 10.5R Novak motor,
only change the timing level to 8,final gear ratio was about 9.0.
Both the tempeture of esc and motor were very high.
The speed was very fast but only last two laps the esc got overheat.
After that,I have tried many different settings, but can not find the perfect answer.
I even made one esc and one motor burn out!
Please help me how to setting kinetic with Novaklink.
I do not understand the min rpm and max rpm really means.
Can I control the boost when to start working and stop with this function or not?
I use kinetic and 10.5R Novak motor on 1/10 on road car, please tell me the all setting on novaklink and the final ratior.
Thanks!

To Novaktwo:
Thank you a lot.I finally got the answer today.
I find setting with novaklink is too hard for me.
Setting directly on the esc is much easier.
And the final gear ratio is the most important part about using esc with boost.
Although the user guide teach us to use light ratio first, but it may cause the motor overheat.
I set the final ratio about 7.4today,and the timing level at 7.
Everything was fine,even the speed.
Thanks you!

Happy to hear that Novak, and our Kinetic experts :,) were able to help you out. All of these new features can be confusing; starting out slowly is generally the best strategy!
