Default What Lipo and Regulator to use?

Hi all,

I am currently running NIMH Packs, but I want to convert over to using a Lipo and regulator. I am running both an RC8T and a D8. What Lipos are the best fit in each car, and what are the best regulators to get?

Thanks in advance

My advice go for the Henergy life po4 6.4v 1400mah

no regulator
charge faster 10amp and above
will not catch fire
will not buldge
can take more current

long lasting

ran 1 hour for rc pro series final and the battery only took 600mah on recharge so more than enough for your ig amains

All the info you need...and IMHO...I would never run a Lipo without a regulator...unless you like unpredictable results and the chance of turning your Lipo pack into a nice paper weight for the office.

The Losi regulator with NO switch has worked great for me, I Have run the Common sense, HT, Apogee and Protech Lipo's, I prefer the Protech, Not sure what will fit yours, is it a Hump pack or flat?
