Dawn Sanchez- In this nationals race are the 220mm Knack conversions going to be allowed to race. If they are allowed what are the rules they will be held to as the are in between 200mm and 235mm. Will they weigh 1725 or 2000.. Just a question because I would like to run that class but will not buy a conversion kit unless they are allowed...

When I go to the ROAR website and click for online registration, it doesn't work. It says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" . The entry flyer comes up though....can i just sign up at the track? Because unless there's another way...the online registration isn't working .

!!!!!!!!!!RACERS BEWARE, VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!
There are two versions of the new Sirio 2611 pipe. There is the version that was banned at the worlds and DOES NOT meet ROAR rules. Stinger is too short. There is a legal version that has a body that is smaller in diameter with the correct stinger length. The legal version will have a body dia of 34mm and a stinger length of 16mm on the long side. Please be aware of this, if you come to tech with the wrong pipe you won't pass.
2009 Nationals will be announced in the next couple of week
The 220mm Knack or similar conversions will not be allowed in 1/10th Open. 1/10th open is a 200mm and 235mm class. Maybe the on-road class committee will have something for this class next year in terms of rules. But for this year there are no rules for this chassis. Contact your ROAR Fuel On-Road Class Committee Chairman. You can find his contact info HERE Sorry Rafael
There have been some issues with the LiveRC registration system this week. With the '08 1/8th buggy worlds being broadcast on LiveRC you may have a hard time getting on the site this week. FEAR NOT!!! You can signup at the track and the late fee is waived.
Sedan Fuel = 1/10th 4wd 200mm sedans, open age group
Masters Sedan = same as sedan must be age 45 or older first day of qualifying
1/10th Open = 235mm cars

Ruben,
I'm confused then. In the past few years 200mm chassis were allowed to run in 1/10 open with Lola style bodies against the 235mm cars. I believe at last years nats there weren't any 235mm cars at all (I may be mistaken, I've slept since then ). I say let the 220mm cars run at the 1725 weight limit. Final say is up to Mike Q. of course but that's my .02.

Sounds like I'll need to look into this some more. Final say is not up to Mike Q as he is no longer a part of ROAR. Looks like we may need to get the class comm involved. I'll get back to you guys at the begining of next week.
