I downloaded it straight from here: http://www.teamtekin.com/hotwire.html

Hotwire is plugged into the USB.

I get the error when I click on the Hotwire Image to start the Application.

When I click the application Windows pops up with this exact error. " Hotwire is not working. Windows is checking for a solution.. "

I'm uninstalled about 5 times now, both trying to install after restarting, with USB plugged in, without USB plugged in. I've tried the Hotwire Restore application as well..

I even tried installing Microsoft .NET 2.0 and Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1, both not compatible with my x86 system. and I did install the Microsoft MDAC 2.8 . all via the Tekin website.

So I pulled out my DB12RR to get it ready for the next race and decided to clean up the wiring. I shortened the servo and speedo wire to the receiver. While doing this I noticed that the deans plug could be soldered right on to the solder post on the Tekin RS.

Interesting, but I'd be concerned about fatiguing the connection between the solder posts and the board after repeated use.

I did have to grind alittle off of the positive side of the plug so I could mount it at an angle. The plug is stuck to the top off the speedo using hd servo top and shoo goo.
