How does it feel by hand between front and rear in terms of hardness and rebound? thanks
Lycan.. Clean and neat car.. I like it that way.
I notice from your picture, the rear upper link.. you mounted on the upper holes of that rear aluminum shock bracket. Any comments on handling differences with as if you were mounted on lower hole?
One more think, with that fuel filter to the carb, do you have any fuel pick ups problem (idle to full throtle)? what temperature normally you race on? I'm asking because it seem longer (distance) do deliver the fuel to carb and still being restricted with the filter (at such a high temp wheater).. I know it would have been helpfull to maintain idle for refueling (the filter).
Thanks all for sharing.

Steering Mod
Has anyone tried to use the V one rr type steering servo saver yet in their G4, it will fit but I cant find the proper top piece to reach the servo. The Kyosho setup uses a side facing servo, the G4 faces foward, so you have to alter the servo saver. Any suggestions anyone?

I m using Speedmind 37 shore all around. One more thing if you want a better and smooth braking use the SQUARE brand red pad. I got it from rcmodel.com, it is actually for V1RR but it fits perfectly to G4 steel brake caliper. This thing is awesome. I never got fading problem and never once I adjust the brake ATL during the mains final. It will make braking very smooth and consistent.

Is the Mugen Purple spring hard than the kit spring?
#477
Mugen purple spring is the softest of mugen's. I set it soft at the front because to get more steering ( suits my driving style). Initially I just changed the shocks oil to 400 at front, the steering improves a bit but not enough for me so since I have the purple spring handy I might just want to try it and it turned out to be a good combination.

just a thought
Any try to clean there bearings yet., I noticed they are packed with some very thick grease. I started cleaning them, and then adding some bearing oil to them, leaving one side of the shields off. The bearings completed so far are a night and day difference, with the ones that I have completed so far. I still am in the quest for the single post servo save modification. I cant find a application for the foward mount servo, only side mount servos. Anyone have a suggestion? Lastly, dissassembling my car for the first time I have removes the small bolts and keepers for the brake rotor, the rotor wobbles with it on, Joel told me that if I remove it the rotor will self center. Also I have gone throught the pullies and removed the crud from the teeth, oh my god what a mess. But they are like new now, and time for a new side belt. Possibly all the k factory belts are a replacement in the near future. Ill be doing some other testing this week, and Ill keep everyone posted.
