Sorry for the OT, but a little while back I was visiting Sanwa's website to look at the MT-4s and was compelled to buy by the following fine description of the MT-4s:

Nice. Didn't see that coming.
I was thinking about getting a second chassis toward the end of the year, I guess it's a new chassis not just an upgraded one then!

I don't have the statistics, but are racers consistently able to set new lap records and consistently faster laps each time a new TC version are released?

But yes, they do have translators for the overseas branches. You're just looking at the wrong site.

I am guessing that he "redesigned" shocks are the slightly larger diameter "big bores" with the one piece shaft guides that come on the new shaft drive car.
We finally get to see the larger diffs we have been hearing about for months now.
While that was a quick run with the 418 I think even Tamiya is admitting that it simply wasn't the leap forward over the last iterations of the 417 chassis as they had hoped it would be. I personally found my 417 with a hard Raceberry chassis to be a more forgiving, faster car to drive than my 418. Either the TC world is far more competitive than it ever has been or (IMO) this is the biggest admission that the 418 wasn't so good--I don't EVER remember Tamiya having a one-number chassis that never turned into an X, Worlds Edition, MS etc.
I kind of feel like I jumped the gun getting a new Samix aluminum chassis to run this carpet season with because I figured the 418 Worlds Car would come out, not a whole new chassis number but oh well. I am sure they will copy Yokomo to the T again with a one-sided layshaft and low motor mount like the BD-7 2014.

Let's see. They got the chassis wrong, they got the motor mount wrong, the bulkheads and everything else. Clearly there's need for a new car, hehehehe!
Lucky they got the new C hub and the suspension arms right. Who wants to bet they'll keep the hinge pins too?

What do you think is wrong with the motor mount? Not challenging, I am just curious myself.
