ive seen pix of it on a german site. They were not the same quality as the one that somebody provided above.
Im intrigued on a technical aspect with the possible drivetrain.
It seems to directly power the rear diff would be extremely efficient.
Will corally continue to support their former chasses?
I know Jantle is talking about, did you guys see pix of the phototype xxxs. I think they should have released it like that, "it only gets better from here" i dont think was the same case. It was all woven graphite chassis, much less bulky.

That's about what Constant told me this week too. The car will indeed be offered in single or double belt form, and the change is a 5 minute job.
The single belt is good in some applications, the double on others.
Sounds good doesn't it. And if there's one thing guaranteed, the Corally quality certainly hasn't suffered.
I can't wait to see it.

I have heard that X-Ray is coming out with a car near the end of the year. No word yet on whether or not it will "resemble" the Corally.

Xray is releasing the composite sport version of the EVO2 w/C-hubs. There are links to the pics in the Xray forum. They will also be selling the EVO2 in 2 different versions. C-hubs or Pillowball suspsension.
That new Corally looks interesting. I wouldn't give up my Xray for it though.

i think single belt cars will be the way to go, especially with stock. I like my YM34T better than anything out right now, but i think it will be replaced with a single belt car next season now that so many companies are making good single belt chassis

There are plenty of pics of both versions of the new car on the Corally UK site.
Very impressive and just what we have grown to expect of Corally.
I spoke to Constant recently and he tells me that plans are to produce a cheaper tub chassis version at a later stage.
The new one at the Nurnberg show had side by side cells, which i much prefer to the original idea.
As for the single belt model, well Constant was right. It's just a case of removing the layshaft completely, and replacing one of the diff wheels with a large spur gear. The motor stays in exactly the same place, so it's not a case of redistributing the weight or anything. The single belt just halves the number of friction parts so i just can't follow the argument that it should not be as good in mod.
I suppose time will tell.

how big do you think that spur gear is????
me thinks 110-115!!!
it has to be that big because of the 1:1 drive ratio with the single belt
still, if the spur is that big, pinions are gunna be like 19-20 for stock on 63mm wheels for a roll out of 33mm
if the above is correct a one tooth change to the pinion will make a huge differance to the roll out, maybe some 64 pitch gears are needed?
