What size bearing does in the carbon fiber steering rack....the flanged bearing marked BH5? Only one came in my kit. Is the car supposed to come with rubber tires? Mine did not.

I´m sorry I can´t go to Sandhausen. We have a race the same weekend.
Do you have to use the EVO4 kingpins also with that hub?

Haha, I thought I was the only one using this. I use it for reading Japanese modelling websites. Very useful indeed.

Default Spool Set-up

415 Spool Set-up

Help needed. Ran my 415 on friday evening @ my LHS asphalt track & my car was not just handling right. The rear just wants swing out during on-power tight turns & also noticed the rear diff kept on lossening up after each run. Here's what I have on my 415:

Track temp. - about 55-60F
Tires - Take offs 27
Tire sauce - Paragon
Drivetrain - Spool/Locked center
Springs - AE Gold/Silver
Swaybars - Red/Red
Oil wt. - AE 40/40
Shock pistons - 2 holes
Shock position - outer holes F/R
Susp. blks - C/A & D/D
Arms - Kit standard
Belts - Standard
Motor - Monster Stock Pro
Gear - 104/34 teeth
Camber - 1.5/1.5
Toe - 0/2.0
Body - Mazda 6

Needing help for a good spool set-up or any suggestions on what I may have set-up wrong on the car.

Hey,

Took home 1st in my main today in Stock at a carpet club race. Qualified Second.

I had some bad luck with the heats. 1st heat I got a good start but a lapped car flipped me back about 4 turns on the track and cost me a lot of time. I reeled the eventual TQ back in but got took out again by a lapped car. Almost had the leader reeled in AGAIN but ran out of time

Second heat I got a good start again but my car was just tweaked to heck. Let the eventual TQ get by me, he had the better car that round. Rode it home 3 seconds behind in 2nd.

A-Main: Took off incredibly well (good starts seem to be my calling card ) Led every lap, avoided trouble and brought it home 1st.

Just for kicks after our main was done me & the TQ (he happened to be one of my pals) went back out for a minute to see who had the stronger car. I passed him and pulled away by about a straight before our batteries dumped. Car was pretty strong all day as long as it wasn't tweaked or getting creamed by a lapped car

Tamiya 415MS was just realeased.

Does anyone know will Tamiya release the 415 World Champion version? (just like 414)

Thanks.

I think the MS is going to be their WC edition. The WC winning car is printed on the box of the MS.

I asked this question because I found the Tamiya USA site called 415MS version is "415MS Chassis Kit LE".

It seemed that Tamiya will release another version of 415.

Just my guess.

"415MS Chassis Kit LE" IS 415MS. LE is for Limited Edition. Same part # as regular 415MS kit. 49xxx kits are usually 'limited edition'

Default Spool, Diffs and middle top plate???

Anyone know of any aftermarket companies that make a spool and/or differentials for the TRF415? Also, is there an aftermarket company that makes a stiffer middle top plate?
