I didn't have any luck with the stock thrust bearings, but I put Xray ones in and never had a problem after that...

I'm not really sure why everyone hates on the stock thrust bearings, I've never had an issue with them, and i certainly don't redo the diffs to often...right Mr. Larcher?

2. No problems whatsoever with the stock thrust bearings here, and I crash a LOT more than Mike does... I probably crash more in one day then he does all season. I've never had the thrust bearing go bad in any touring car diff...now 1/12 scale is another matter... I kill one every race day (the outer flanged bearing in the right hub)

1. I'm having a hard time figuring out what the axle shims would do to have any effect on camber gain... I could see the axles binding slightly without the shims in place if someone grunted the nuts tight, but I can't see where camber gain comes into the picture...

1. Without the shims my wheels have so much play you could see a change in camber from wiggling them.
2. ok so there are 2 magicians here, the other 15 people at our track alone blow them up very quickly
