Thanks Shaun.

I'm going to check that lipo out.

As for the 4t, of course I'm going to dial the settings back like heck initially until I learn the behavior of the car as I'm new to f1. But once I get a handle of it I plan to gut the car out and modify the rebuild. Thats my angle to this rc game. Some race, some bash, some produce shelf queens. Me—I modify

Are the Ride wheels part# 25003 and 240222? I have a set but it has a hex fitting for the front (which doesn't work on the x1, and the rear hex fitting is too small. So I can't mount either.

ETS rules.
Tires:
Only RIDE pre glued tires and wheels are allowed:
Front: 26022
Rear: 26023
These are the ETS tires, the are for tamiya style,
The X1 is also Tamiya style, they fit, i have them on my X1.
Any rim that fits Tamiya F104, will fit.
The 25003 is a rear rim for FGX and HPI, and will not fit.
The 24022 is a front tire, it fits most rims.

I forget the part numbers but just look for the Ride tires that suit an F104.

Not sure I understand your last sentence.

"The X1 is also Tamiya style, they fit, i haave them on my X1"

The Ride :26022 and 26023 fit the x1?

The x1 is also Tamiya style???
