We do not have a date but we are looking into offering some stators.
We would probably start by offering a 17.5t stator as it is by far the most popular. Which wind are you looking for?
Just out of curiosity, why do you want replacement stators?
Repair burned up motors, or some other reason?
Trying to gauge how popular these might be.

I was trying to find the limit.... found the limit, hence needing a new stator ;-)

Hi guys, when you guys mention a 40 degree timing, is that the last line #4 on the timing adjusted to the left side from zero position, please help me? I am new in this timing set up. Thank you.

The newer motors have actual numbers assigned to the timing lines.
With your motor the line you describe would be 30 degrees.
40 degrees would approximately be the leading edge of the can screw.

We are for sure going to release a 17.5t stator. Other winds is undecided at this moment. It will probably depend on demand if we would sell other stators.
One problem I see with stator swapping in the Sonic is that each "can" is engraved with the wind. So if you have 13.5t and then you put in a 21.5t wind, the motor still says it's a 13.5t on the outside.
Look for the 17.5t stators in May, just guessing right now.

i would suggest thinking about releasing a 21.5 or 25.5 whichever is for VTA...even if in small batches are released you might be surprised on demand.

Thank you for your replied.
From the picture you attached, it look like that is set up a full timing to the end? Because I saw the small plastic arrow indicated in the last line.
Am I looking at the correct way?

The pointer is actually above the line. If you want 40 degrees timing that is my best estimate to achieve that.

We have been considering adding a 25.5t to our line also.
We need to do some more checking to see if we can make that wind and if it would be legal for competition.

Reedy timing set up
Thanks Sean, so the last line is the maximum to adjust to increase the timing.
I am using this motor on my Tamiya TA05 V2 with 94 spur gear/50 pinion gear it ran 140 degree on the motor. Anybody have a tip for me for a better gearing? To make it a bit faster on my car, please. Thanks.

Do you guys have any suggestions for rollout and timing on a 13.5 blinky 12th scale? I found some info on 17.5 blinky and 13.5 boost, but not much on this. My current rollout is ~3.56" (90.4mm) with 40deg motor timing and my temps after 8min are ~146F. My car is certainly not slow, but I'm sure it could be faster. It was suggestion by a local I gear up a few teeth. I just changed to a rollout of 3.63" (92.3mm), but have not tried it yet. Advice would be much appreciated

On cool days -65f I've run 92 roll with max timing, and no fade

Reedy 17.5T gearing
Can anybody help me with a tips, what size of gearing I should use for a Reedy sonic 17.5T motor on a Tamiya TA05, currently I am using 50 pinion/94 spur gear. Ratio 3.86 If I am not mistaken. I need a suggestion how to get a bit more power?thanks.

The only thing I could suggest is maybe gearing up more. Just need to keep an eye on temps. I think you could go as high as 3.50 if temps don't get too hot. Keep the motor below 170F.

Thanks, so I can't change the pinion gear to the higher number, because it will hit the motor casing house. Now I am using 50 pinion is very close to the edge. Is that mean I need to lower down the spur gear to like 92 or 90 maybe?
