Consider what minimum wage is in your state and then multiply that amount by the time it will take you to remove the paint off of the $25.00 body.
If those amounts are even close, bite the bullet and buy a new one.

Its pretty simple, as long as you painted it with Lexan Style paint.
-Buy some DOT3 brake fluid,
-Grab a container large enough to hold your body, and round up some paper towels.
(Suggested by another forum the paper towels works the best).
-Place the body in the container and pour some brake fluid in to coat the body.
-Next wad up a couple paper towels, soak them in the fluid, and place them in the body so that they contact most of the painted surfaces.
-Pour a little more brake fluid in for good measure, and go watch the Speed Channel for 15-20min.
-When you get back, the paint should be soft enough to scrape away with the paper towel.
-Rinse it every now and then with warm water to clean the loose paint away, and resoak the body with brake fluid to continue.
-The results are surprising, and the body didn't cloud up.
(This Tutorials was borrowed from Groovy and DRC1)

Wow! I have a couple of bodies at home I have FUBAR'd. I may try this.

well in my case if ur not gonna use that old jug of nitro. u can throw the body in and let it do its thing. come back and see ur results. dish soap it off when ur satisfied to remove the oils that come with the fuel. and ur set. way to go with the old bodies for sure, brake fluid is just too much of a risk for those. but BF does work great too as u can see above.

I bought a use Tamiya F-1 car. The body was green and white...no idea what brand of paint was used. I didn't care for the colors and the body was pretty tattered so I bought a new one. I decided not to toss out the original body to try some of the paint removal techniques I had heard about. I tried 99% isoporpyl alcohol...soaked a few sections at a time. This worked great on the white, but barely softened the green. I found som grafitti removal spray at my local Home Depot...I can get the brand if interested. This worked on the green. End result, all the paint off, no staining, and I ended up re-painting the body.

DECAL/WRAP/Meh Fail Body
I have failed at painting my test BMW body LOL.
So i have decided to turn it into a "RC Car Wrap Guinea Pig"
So yeah STICKER way would be this.
