If i am not mistaken the rear arms are as long or short as the TRF416/417.
Seen some one driving it and it looks nice and planted.
Dunno if it was Sakura arms tho.

ran across a few images of the car that was run at the titc a few months back. perhaps a clearer glimpse into some of the features x1 will employ. fairly unexciting, save for the intensity of the electronics installation ..

I hope the new car doesn't come with the lower shock towers......I've tried everything with them and just can't get them to work... I wonder if the new car will come with a Seaballs tuning guide...

Aside from the big mess of electronics, not bad. Wonder if they'll have a conversion kit for it? I just want the double arm steering. I did notice narrow front blocks and short arms, plus a few other things.

Anyways, so far my Zero is doing pretty good. Cannot wait to use the short arms. Just need to figure out which bones to use?? 40? 42? 44?

Lots of small changes, looks impressive.
I love the belt tensioner setup, looks like its externally adjustable.
Centre bulkheads allow screws to top deck.
Dual steering
Short arms
Narrow front blocks

Overall, if it had a decent electronics install, it would be a fine looking car.

Dont know if this helps or not ...........

I was given a set of short arms to run at TITC on my Zero

I am using 46mm front with spool and 44mm rear with gear diff.

I am using standard front blocks but narrow rears

This was in a fast conversion before racing. I most probably could drop 2mm out of both shafts as I am well inside the drive cups

Thanks Cannon, I figure maybe one pair of each set will get me going. I'm surprised that 46mm still fits in the front. Must be real deep in the cups.

additionally, i've measured all the pivot blocks. here are a few random facts:
  • the narrow rear sets are 2mm narrower overall than standard pivot blocks of the same degree.
  • the rr blocks move in 1.5mm increments overall width, per degree
  • the standard front blocks are just about the same width as the rr2.0

A bit late in the game, but I just finished building my Sakura Zero.

I am impressed by the quality and innovations in the car. Can't wait to run it!

I believe that the rear arms are shorter so the use of the narrow suspensionblocks isn,t needed anymore.
At the front i see indeed narrow suspension blocks.
Perhaps this is to narrow the track wide without using short arms?

from what I know a little bit more...

-screws to secure diff bearing housing
-motor mount move forward for longer rear belt

the front narrow blocks from the photos are just the same as Sakura FF. The new narrow front/rear arms replace that.

Those pics show narrow front blocks but the car in the pictures is also equipped with the short arms
