It really depends on the feel that you like on the car.

Typically I start with silver/silver all around. If the rear is rotating a little too fast, I go to RSD Pink Carpet. If you want a little more stability Green fronts can help too. This is with medium roll centers.

With what you have right now, try the silver in the front first, with your 2.5 rears. After that, try silver all around. I typically tell people to try them on in the front first and then all around. This allows them to appreciated the qualities the silver springs offer.

Hey Brandon, unfortunately those springs are discontinued because the factory went out of business. You might want to try superior hobbies to see if they have any left in stock. Otherwise, your best bet is to try the new Green Springs, they are actually in between the silver and blue. Same wire size, so they should behave very similarly.

What would you recommend I try on a fairly tight indoor carpet track, currently 2.7F, 2.5R and if grip comes up enough 2.7r;

I run more carpet than asphalt and I have been really fine tuning my spring choice in similar conditions except I have been running Mod. Based on what you're running now you could start with a carpet blue rear and a carpet pink front. At our track (96x40) medium grip with mod I have really liked black rear and blue fronts, 2.3's all around, and 2.3-2.6 progressives all around with either 350 or 424 4 holes 1.1's.

Great, so I called superiorhobbies, and it looks like they DO, but we are a bit confused because they have different non-coated silvers, with different product numbers, with different weights listed. He said they have the following:

silver 002 13.6lbs
silver 003 14.5lbs

What I want is the same tc6 springs I got last year (running them on my tamiya), blues, silvers, and whatever color is just softer than silvers. Can you guide me to the correct springs so I can tell the guys at superior which ones to drop in the bag for me? (I left you guys a voice mail at your main contact phone#)

Those two are the same spring. The difference is we changed the rating from 14.5 to 13.6 to reflect the real rating of the spring.

Damian, start with 4x1.1 pistons with 350 oil, medium roll centers, pink front blue rear.

After that, try blue front/blue rear and then blue front/black rear and compare results.

Pinks are like 2.6, blue are like 2.45 and black is like 2.35

I have raced at smaller and tighter but not by a huge amount.

What's the reason for starting so soft? (by comparison)

I have just fitted the RSD 4 hole 1.1mm pistons and usually run 450 oil with Xray 4 hole 1.1's.

I found that the thicker oil didn't really change the laptimes but did seem to make the car easier to drive more consistently.

Ignore the part no. Go by color. It was a running change. The yellow is actually softer than 13.5.

Silver/silver is the same and what you are looking for. Yellow is softer.

Damian, I like to start with softer oul if grip is low and I go up until the car starts getting worse. I basically want to get away with the thickest oil I can get away with, but I have to start soft and go up.
