Welcome to the 2016 Dirt Runners Outdoor Season!! This season will bring our 29th annual Dirt Runners Challenge!

We typically race every other Sunday (see schedule below) (The Dirt Runners Challenge is a 2 day race - Saturday and Sunday). For a normal race day, gates open at 800, registration closes at 1030 and racing begins at 1100. We run both Oval and Off-road. The oval is about 360 Ft run line. The off-road track is built inside the oval (see pic below). Due to the number of entries we get and that we run in a county park with no lights, we generally run one qualifier and then the mains.

Preregistration is encouraged (helps to get the racing starting on time). You can either preregister on the HobbyTalk thread (http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?t=521890), or using the preregistration form on the website (see below). Please remember to include your name, classes you wish to race, frequencies (or 2.4ghz) and personal transponder numbers for each class.

Based on our indoor racing season this year, Mudboss looks like it may be a very popular class. Outdoor rules do not allow the LCG chassis and we allow any short course or rally Traxxas tire (S1 compound or standard) with a fixed gear ratio of 28/86. See website for full rules.

1/10 2wd Buggy Off Road (didn't run 3 races)
1/10 4wd Buggy Off Road (didn't run 5 races)
1/8 Nitro Truggy Off Road (Only ran 2 races)

Mark I think we will have to start using RC tech as HT has changed passwords or something and I cannot get access, Admin will not return reply's. I have tried everything to reset my password but no luck. Maybe that's why that board is dying. LMK if you have any great idea's

Bob, they changed passwords because of a data breach. I received an email (at my HobbyTalk registered emails address) with my new password. You should have too.

I'm not taking pre-regs from RCTech, so if you can't get back on HobbyTalk (you could always re-register), please do your pre-registration using the DirtRunners web site online registration form.

great day of racing yesterday ,looked shaky at first but track came together. results would be nice ,DR site hasn't been updated in weeks , makes it look like no racing goes on , need new site manager maybe

The guy who does our web site has a regular job, a side business, two kids and a wife and hasn't had the free time to make it to a race yet this year, so sometimes web site updates can be slow.
