It's official. I have no idea what what this thread is talking about, it's like differential calculus with all the numbers and letters. Next you're going to try to convince some noobie to order some BAL-l00N S.T.-rings, or 500 feet of racing line, elbow grease, and electrical smoke.

I noticed that my C01AL-S I ran last sunday without topdeck and 4 screws on AM30-5 was a little bit bended lengthwise. But once I put C21, it was flat again. So I think AM33-5 is definitely a must-have for C01AL-S...parts are on the way

G-rem please sell me your AM30-5. PM me
Thanks

I don't recommend to use the most outer holes of AM30-5. We have found that the screws in these holes bend the ends of chassis upwards a bit due to some "boundary effect".

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a chassis protector? Preferably an adhesive type. Seems the way to go for asphalt.
Thanks

This is very durable ~0,5 mm thickness tape applied along the outer edges of the lower deck.

Haha, sorry, nope; I think I will keep it, it is collector now
When I realised it, I was using AM30-5 with only four screws: the two closest to AM49 screws and one before the first hole in the front and one before the last hole in the rear. All other holes (but the first and the last) of AM30-5 were screwed with set screws. I will give a try by unscrewing AM30-5 and tightening it again, thanks for the advice
I think the bend is right before the front of AM30-5 or before the fixing point of AM24 (because when I put my upper deck, the chassis was flat again without unscrewing AM30-5), so AM33-5 will solve this problem. And it seems the car behaves better with less longitudinal flex...
I was using AE one with my carbon chassis. Very protective but very hard to remove properly...I tried the Yeah Racing one but it was too much weak...
With my C01AL-S, I'm trying the JConcept one and it seems very protective and easier to remove than the AE
Please unscrew your AM30-5 and screw it again. Some tension between the chassis and stiffener that probably causes the bending will be eliminated after that.

Great news! I was logging in this morning to ask what the story is for the ST17-1-S item availability. Good timing.
Hana - as for chassis protector, I started using these this Summer - cheap (2 for $4) easy to put on (and take off when it's time to go back on the carpet):
