Interesting. I was wondering which was softer, not really surprised the aluminium chassis is with all the cutouts. Might have to change over since I have both alu and cf chassis with my car.

My car seems to have some excess play (clearance) between the G03 25T bevel gear and the ring gear on the diff. I have already moved the SH0.1 shim to the gear side of the shaft to move the gears slightly closer for better mesh, but they still seem rather loose. There is no more room to fit a thicker shim on the shaft and still get the SPR06 wire ring in place.

How much play should there be in the gear mesh? Is there some way to get more adjustment? Or should I not worry about it?

frankly i wouldn't worry about it. i run all of my cars w/o p10 -- indoors or out. depending upon the amount of time on the car -- swapping out the g03 might be the largest help.

any time i've tried to add shims to one side of the spool i've ended up putting excess stress and breaking spools (at03 style--- never saw issue w/ at03m-s)

Just noticed these Motiv M-CODE motors on the Ax USA site. Anyone have any experience with these motors? Ideally how they may compare to the Team Powers Actinium?

Monti Panzica ran them last weekend when he stopped by the NJ area. They had a lot of rip out of the hole..

Good day! I spread my settings for extra bumpy track. Unfortunately, I was unable to fight because of illness, but the car was perfect!

Finally finished my Evo I bought used a while back. Great car but still need to work on setup to get rid of some push.

Definitely had some laughs at the track today with my fresh body too.

Hey Mike,

Do you have an ETA for suspension arms in the online store?

Hey guys. I never driven a awsomatix car. But i am looking into getting one for stock driving 13.5 Blinky mode. My question is, from the site i see several models. Witch one would you recommend ? What extra parts would you recommend i also get ? Any advice or warning would be greatly appreciated.

The car will mainly be driving on CRC carpet indoor.

Thank you all for your thoughts and advice.

You want to get an Evo 2 kit. The only options you should need are a topdeck, lowered arm balls (AT21S), and titanium turnbuckles. For general spares, if you look on the awesomatix usa shop site, there is a suspension "crash kit", that will cover all your basics.

There is an evo II for sale in the classified forum. Looks to be a great deal also.
