Hey Dan-
Here's a wheel chart I made up with all of the legal part numbers and descriptions, and here are a couple of pics with my GT 350 body on so you can see the fit. This is on a Tamiya TB02, which I believe is a little narrower than a TC3.

I can see that the body flairs out more in the rear than I thought it would. I was worried that the 31mm + 6mm offset would be too wide for the body since it didn't appear to be flared out like the Camaro body.

I have the body but without an existing rim/tire to gauge from it's difficult to tell, especially since HPI's website doesn't "quite" jive with the VTA specs.

Looks like I need to place my order.

I'm wondering how much extra weight you need to add to the battery side to balance out a TC3 if you're running a 21.5/Lipo? I can find out when I get my battery but I'm trying to plan ahead. That Novak motor seems kinda heavy......

Just get the wheels tires specified for the USVTA. Guys have been running this combo with the Mustangs since the start of the class. HPI does recommend 26mm all the way around but the 31's work fine. At least 4 TC3's at our track and I run a Mustang with my TC5 and it works fine. Since the Mustang is a little narrower than the Cuda or Camaro in the rear, just be a little more careful marking the body post holes. But don't sweat it... just get em.

I ordered them from Tower tonight, thanks to everybody for their help. I just hate ordering up the wrong stuff and having to return, wait, etc...., much easier to get it right the first time. Ah the power of the internet and forums like this.

Now I need a Lipo........, waiting for the Zippys to be in stock, othewise I'll go with a Yeah racing 4000 which are also due in. Hmm....... they are probably both coming from the same factory. At least I can toss in my Orion 3400 from my JRX to test/setup the car. I wish I could get another Orion 3400 for ~$50.....

that would honestly depend on the rest of your electroncis and chassis...

Different servos are different weights - as well as receivers..

best just to throw everything together and go from there

I know on my Cylone (yes, I know - completely different chassis), I had to add way more weight than I expected - almost an entire pack of the AE stick on weights
