try rctarget.com... they sell the igt8 buggy which has a few different parts to the hong nor version (which can be had from rc willpower on ebay). And stock all the parts as well, though only for the latest version. If you have an older one, eBay is really the only source at the moment. Dealt with them both several times with no problems at all.

Hong nor x3 evo ,the latest nitro model is a fantastic car regarding handling.it is a very different from the previous model .The problem with the hong nor cars is that they are EXTREMELY fragile and constantly break .everything brakes arms break, shafts bend..you end up giving a ton of money and you never finish a race .Regarding your question, yes they are very competitive compared to other brands.

I believe its an updated version,,,,,,Dont hold me to that. You would have to cross referance part numbers .Try RC Willpower as well.If you have an x3 I would look for x3 parts.

from the sentence you had wrote out of..it is not hard to understand that you had the bad image with some of brand and even worsted with the driving skill you are. Why not you just improve your knowledge with your driving skill for the 1st and then spoken out your experiences with your best result of some others car kit.
for me it is not hard to break or even total lost a unit.
i am totally disagree what you had said. My experience with hong nor x series is from x1 till the latest one x3 evo.. i am so happy with it.
