Default Receiver packs whats everyone running??

what is everyone running for receiver packs. Long story here but the reason I ask is that I've got 3 Promatch 2500 mah receiver packs I've had for several years. they've been sitting around but I've always tried to keep them charged but last year ( winter) 2 of them quit taking a charge well I discected them last night and where they where spotted together for the bars the spot welds where broke I soldered one back together and it works great. I've been in contact with Promatch for several weeks now trying to buy a couple more packs but seems like he's dragging his feet on getting them built and our nitro season has started. I'm not sure if I'm going to run nitro next year or not so not really wanting to jump in and go lipo yet. plus I'm not sure if all (battery & regulator) will fit in my battery box or not. I'm relly wanting to stick with the big mah packs if possible. Thanks for any input on this.

I had cheapbatterypacks.com make me one out of 2600 mah AA's.

Made if very quick, and great construction, only costed me 15 bucks for the pack before shipping.
