i'm thinking 3mm though to shave off some weight that is positioned high(for lower CG). the 4mm will do for now, but i'm thinking about getting the 3mm skyline tower.

really close i guess! i don't know what the numbers are exactly, but it can be a difference from 1.75 to 1.84 which if you round of the numbers off, it will still give you 1.8
but i think the dark blue is softer than gray (from driving the car). the gray felt too stiff for me when i tried it on my 3. but i tried the dark blue and they were perfect.

I like that shock tower. I am already running it. I am a big advocate of lowering weight, but this is one place that I would keep it. The stock tower is 2.5mm. The skyline one is 3mm. Thicker, but not much. The 4mm one is noticeably stronger and it is also recessed in the mounting area so the position of the shock and body mounts are in the same place. I crashed several times this weekend at the TFT race. The tower held up fine. I am also still using the stock front tower.

yeah, after i raced my car "derby" style , the shock tower held up fine. the stock one i broke the first time out with the car and this was the only rear shock tower available at that time. he shipped it really quick which allowed me to race the following weekend after i broke the stock.

my car held up really well at the t4t race. My motor on the other hand did not. lost 1st gear, motor hit 425, done... Even after all the impressive hits the car took, I didnt break anything except the front exhaust pipe mount. Oh well. Breaking in the JP this week for the Rev's T4T race!!!

The blue is softer then the grey, and the dark blue is a in-between the both of them.

Its just d 1/8 25t is a bit wider.If u use 0270belt on 25t,it is like d stock belt wit 23t pulley.

Where are people finding the 25t pulleys? I have looked and no luck.

I will also have some new 3mm (6061 T6 aluminium, very very strong) chassis done by early next week for sale. I am also working on some Titanium alloy chassis also. I will will have 5 colors to choose from. Blue, Purple, Orange, Green and polished aluminium.
This will solve a lot of the flex problem on the Mtx-4.

Titanium main chassis ? That's cool Who made it ? Hardcore Racing ?

Chassis flex is good thing eventhough I'm not a flex believer. It makes your car feel stable especially at bumpy track.
I'm using lighter oil & spring and slightly higher ride height ( more body roll ) to compensate stiffness.
