Kinda looks just like axel grease. The type ypu put in the palm of your hand to pack a bearing with.
I wonder how the red fluid for Kyosho would work.

Well that's easy enough. I just acquire 2 complete diffs in a parts lot 1 alum,
1 plastic and gears enough to create a 3rd center diff. But the one I took
out of the car seemed to be lacking on lube.
Do these things have a issue with leaking? If so is there a fix?

Any high temp grease will work. Kyosho LSD oil will work. And 80 WT diff gear oil will work found at automotive store.
But I would not race the buggy with out my cross pin conversion kit to make the diff standard style with silicone oil.
Use RTV sealant on the gaskests to keep them from leaking or get the alum diff cases that come with the TR Arena.

Okay. I'll stick with stock for now. Thanks for the info.

At this point, I won't know the difference because I haven't actually had the chance to drive it yet.
First time we got it running, didn't check the screws on motor/mount and stripped main gear.
Had to wait for the replacement. So just to get it going for now, it will be fine. Are any of the diffs
from other brands interchangeable. Like if I had a couple spare OFNA diffs hanging around?

Ofna/Kyosho will fit. Just bolt on the CEN ring gear.

I am now including my cross pin conversion kit with all Matrix Pro FRE kits. E-mail for a great price and put "RCTECH" in the subject.

Gene,
Do you know what combinations you get with the spacers on the eck-tec block?
I have no instructions and did not see anything on the website.
Thanks

No idea. I just measured it compared to the stock blocks but they are not exact.
