Here's the 3.3mm chassis I just recieved today from Mach10_shooter.
side x side with the stock chassis.
did a great job on the servo mounting.
and the front bumber brace that he made previously.

will receive the thicker upper deck and battery brace shortly.

Chris also mentioned that 2 of his chassis will be raced at the Reedy Race.
I hope they do well.

I'm sorry Shook, I guess I shouldn't have joked like that. I actually have about 17 packs. So that makes 34 open-enders and I use them on every turnbuckle on all my cars if I can. -JB

KILRUF - Do those steering knuckles have any more clearance between the wheel and the steering knuckle arm than the Team Suzuki steering knuckles?

I want to run BSRs and they are much wider than standard 26mm wheels and bind against the steering knuckle arm. Even 28mm wheels with the older offset bind against the arm and I need something with more clearance.

How'd racing go at the WOOD today?

Jimmy Thanks

Tim

The clearance on those knuckles are the same as the kit knuckles. I tried to mount up some 28mm Jaco's and they rub as they do with the kit knuckles.

As for racing, I TQ'd today with track record in Stock. But Jairo got a good run on me and reset track record by a couple hundreths in the main. I ended up 2nd. No body broke into the 19sec lap range though this time. In the main I got 20.09 or something. I think Jairo was 20.10 or 20.11. So my 19.95sec lap is still the record. But G'Honey is coming back to race at the "Wood". So I'm sure he's gonna push us even harder now like he did last year. You guys should come down sometime!!

Anyways, next weekend I'll be racing my 415. Gonna start getting it ready and setup for TCS in July. Plus a guy here is having alittle trouble with his. So I figure I'll help him out some.

For setup here, I run basically kit setup. Except I use a 2degree rear block instead of the kit 3degree. And I run a locked center pulley with a front oneway.

Evilgrafx- you referring to BSR foams or capped tires for asphalt? Send me a PM if you have any questions about the tires or offset, etc.

Jimmy- good to here Honeycutt is back. I want to run up there bad, but June just isn't that good of a month, especially with the NJ race, later.

Yeah, Greg said he hasn't raced in 3 months. He was alittle rusty. But once he gets into gear, he'll be a force to be reckonded with in stock!! I can still vision his burnouts in stock at the Regionals last year hehe. He mentioned stuff about the new FT TC4. I'd hate to see him with one....
