speed for steering and torque for throttle.
128oz of torque is plenty for steering in a buggy. the 9000s is what i am running currently and it is plenty.
i believe 250-300 is good for throttle/brake. i like the high torque ones they seem to take the abuse a little better.
you don't need 150 charger. the triton jr is 75.00 and does everything. you don't even need that much. you can just get a generic wall charger for 20.00 from ht batteries.

someone he knows got sponsored by kyosho....so he is jumping ship.....
i think the reason why cars are getting cheaper is because of the age of the car.......when i bought mine, (this spring) the car was 5 months old....ppl were paying 599 for them and you couldnt find one for less than 450.....
now, ppl are paying 499 and the car is a year old....so most are buying a second kit....and want to dump their originals.......thence the price drop.....

actually matt, i have been thinking about jumping ship for awhile. like the way the mugens handle, they look more responsive and easier to drive. but since this friend you speak of did get with kyosho, yes it does push me to buy a k car
i drove a mugen car down in peoria the other weekand, loved the way it handled. times were much faster then my losi
i was gonna buy jason's old mugen, but martinez is going to buy it,
what setup are running matt, i'm going to run this weekend at the nitro farm. maybe if i can get the car to handle more tight, and with more control. i will keep my car till this winter

2500 "aa" packs will fit no problem. pretty much any hump pack on the market will fit.

I think that is essential to use the 3-3 plate in the rear in combination with your tie rod position in the 2 hole on the shock tower and the A position on the outer hub. AKA The 2-A position. Only thing is your most likely going to need shorter tie rods, such as buying another set of front tie rods, and using them in the back. Why? because if you want to run negative camber, the stock tie rods will compress your swivle balls and bind up the rear end.

Jason - Wasn't planning on it but since I only got one run in (or pack for Mr. Losi) last weekend at Nitrofarm I may need to go back.
xlgraphicspro - will going to 2A from 4A give me more rear forward traction? How does it affect steering and rear stability?

The 2A position settles the rear end down and help your car rotate around corners better. My car feels like a carpet touring car it's easy to drive underneath the other cars that push out in the turns. Try it, I felt like I was racing with both my arms tied behind my back before I made the change. I felt like I was giving everyone an unfair advantage.
