Default good motors and batteries??

So what's the hot ticket for stock motors and batteries now? I've been out of the hobby for 2 years now and when I stopped racing the hot ticket was 2200 cells and the P2Kpro. I'm getting back into the swing again and I don't want to be #1 qualifier in the D-main!

Everyone seems to like the Monster Stock Pro for a motor for almost every track nowdays. And for average voltage and punch the GP3300 is the only way to go. My favorite motor is the GM3 green motor.

also, i run 2400's still(no money), and they give me plenty of punch for being cheap, but i need to do calcualtions to figure out run time. Nevermind, my 3300 is great, if ya got the money, get them, i never found the 3000's to have punch though, just my opinion. Speedies right, monster is the best, but on a tight technical track, use the p2k2.

Thanx guys. What brushes are the fast guys running now? Any cutting, slotting, or drilling tricks that come to mind?

Wow, you seem to have some great prices there! What kind of runtimes should I expect with the 1.17v+ 3300's I see in the "matched cells" section? I see 420+ with the lower voltage cells. Just wondering if it's worth the extra $2 per cell.

tc3.

i run a TC3 also...

an excellent combination is...

Trinity Monster Stock Pro
Team Hurricane Gold brushes w/ purple/green springs

Team Hurricane also has excellent quality cells at great prices. I see Brad and Kevin at the track and they are great guys....they have helped my alot in tuning and set-ups.

Since switching to using the Hurricane Golds my monster stocks have been way faster then any other combination i've tried.
