Bring your humility, open mind, and get ready for some fun. Don't hesitate to ask people questions. Be sure to follow the rules of the track. Dont sweat it if your getting put down a lap or two..or 10 for that matter. We all have to start somewhere.

Good Luck and have fun.

Soldering iron, and a surge protector is nice also. Well the one I use isnt a surge protector, but it looks like one and gives me the option to plug in 6 things. Sometimes outlets get crouded quickly. i also bring a clip on light, and small bottle of water for the Iron's sponge.

Also never walk off the drivers stand in a negative mood. Keep good spirits and analyze what you can change to better yourself the next time out.

And don't get mad if the marshals aren't there immediately to get your car when you crash...yes, when..not if..

they're doing their best..they just have lots to watch..jsut like you'll find out when you go out to marshall immediately following your heat!!!

don't forget your wallet, most important thing, because you need money to race. specially if ur drivin, to the track, then u need it for ur D.I., and check inside any compartments, to make sure what u think is in there, really is.

lol,who doesn't wish for more money?
since u're still young enough, whine a little and loosen those proverbial belts of ur parents'...hehehe,just j/k.

i try to bring everything i can to the races or track in general.
soldering gun?perhaps?
if ur running many heats, many classes it might be a good idea to bring more consumables like tyres and brushes.
also, after some crashes u will have to retune ur car,so those equipments are necessary.

GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!!
losing is no big deal.

hey man, i'm 15 too, doesn't suck not being able to drive to the track(other places too) I just have my x-mas money last me for the hole carpet season. All my money goes to r/c, so i can make it last, drive better, spend less. Okay, then remind ur parents it's race nite, so there not pissed about being last minute. Also, bring your car body, forgot that once, had to orrow a back up body form another guy, u think ur car is in the box, but is the body on it.
