Greg,

Front springs vs rear springs actually will have different tensions/characteristics due to the different number of coils on the springs. Not sure how your not getting ride height when using the shock collars to adjust them. Never tried rears on fronts and vice versa.
With the other question, regardless if you tigthen the piston nut or not,you will get the same result - the piston need to travels up and down.

i suggest that you tighten the nut fully. you dont want a nut floating around in your shock body

Cool

i am able to get ride height but when you run low tyres the springs have no tension on them before you put the car on the ground and when you run 62mm tyres the collars are just about out of thread i can live with this but i would have thought mugen would have the springs the correct length so as to maintain tension throughout the ride height and tyre size range, also nytro chaos the nut has nylock it would not come loose

If your shocks are to long this will effect your ride hiegth and tension on your springs, these springs have different lengths for a reason, if you want more ride hiegth with less tession on your springs, shorten your shocks this will also take the spring slop out when your car is off the ground.

looks like the track is broad enough to run solid rear. the mtx-2 certainly looks much faster :-)
maybe it's a faster engine, more agressive driving style etc . . .

the track is a tight medium. the video does show the track is a bit big but in fact it is a tight one.

Looks like you have steering linkage blinding at the servo. use more spacer to make the servo sit inner to the chassis.
