I don't know if Kyosho makes one but Serpent makes a similar tool. The Serpent tool does not have a pinion wrench but it does have a flywheel holder.

Brakes:
APP Brake Rotor & Pad Set - APP02

Pivot Balls:
64 Titanium 9mm Ball Screw (8pcs) - VZW024V-8

Hinge Pins:
Rear Lower Suspension Shaft - VZW038
Front Upper Suspension Shaft - VZW037
Front Lower Suspension Shaft - VZW036

Chassis:
SP Main Chasis for V1RRR - VZW214

Rear Shock Stay
Rear Shock Stay for V1RRR - VZW207
What is the difference between the stock hinge pins and these? What about the pivot balls? I don't think the ones that came in my kit are steel.

As for things to add:
Aluminum Brake Lever - VZW063
64 Titanium Spur Gear Shaft - VZW209
64 Titanium Bevel Shafts - VZW211
Lightweight Clutch Bell - VZW213
Hollow Mid Shaft -
Aluminum Mid Shaft Mount -
Lightweight Flywheel -

BTW, I am using all of the parts I have listed and they are all excellent.

No problem. If you get the one from Serpent let me know if you like it. I have one and I don't find it as easy to use with the Kyosho clutch. Maybe it's just me.

My bad - I should have been clearer:

Hinge Pins:
64 Titanium / Rear Lower Suspension Shaft - VZW038
64 Titanium / Front Upper Suspension Shaft - VZW037
64 Titanium / Front Lower Suspension Shaft - VZW036

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WCE Kit Hinge Pins:
Rear Lower Suspension Shaft - VZ224
Front Upper Suspension Shaft - VZ223
Front Lower Suspension Shaft - VZ222
WCE Kit Pivot Balls:
9mm Ball Screw - FM337
I have no idea what material the kit parts are made out of.
Rather than burning big bucks on 8 pillow balls for all the car, may I suggest only putting Ti pillowballs on the front upper side?.
Is a matter of compromise, reduce unsprung weight vs. raising the CG of the car. No matter how light is your car, if you remove weight from the better place that could be (the lowest) the handling will be worse (and expensive). Don't forget too that Ti is lighter but more prone to breaking, with the lower pillow balls in steel, they bend, but not break.
BTW: The best ones (and confirmed by other people) are the Mugen ones, part no. T0187 (2pc pack).
The same applies for the Ti screw set and other Ti parts, the worst place you can remove weight is at chassis plate level (so, forget too about LiPo batteries and things that can remove weight were you would desire - weight freaks don't apply).
Corse-R: Thanks for the info. All good things for everyone to know and keep in mind before just jumping to conclusions that the Ti part is the better choice.
I think we are very fortunate to have some very knowledgeable and experienced people help us with this project. It will really help us weed out what the "best choices" are for the car.
Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the input, participation and feedback. Keep up the good work!
