Looking very nice. You got some nice hop-ups there. For Electric conversion, I like the RCMonster kit.

If anyone is looking, a hobby shop local to me has an 801X kit brand new in box for sale. Saw it sitting on the shelf while I was there the other day. The guy that owns the store is a hoarder and there are piles and piles of new old stock everywhere. PM me if you want the info for the store, not sure what he would be looking to get for it price wise.

Car was last sold on Tamiya site for $99. I’m sure whoever has 1 at this point would just keep it...... I kno I would

Dusted the old girl off, rebuilt the diffs, shocks, and engine. Fired up almost immediately. Just ordered a MP9 body for it. I skimmed this old thread but didn't find it. What Suspension arms, hubs, and universals from other kits fit?

I am sure he wants to pay a reasonable amount! Do you have one? Are you willing to sell it at a reasonable price?

Yea I have one. It's my last one though. Obviously he wants it for a reasonable amount, not trying to rake him over the coals

I wish I had one. I had the pleasure of driving a friends back shortly after its release. I remember it drove really nice. Never understood why Tamiya didn’t go further with this platform.

I still have it even if i don't race anymore nitro. It is in my collection in two versions:

- Standard Chassis
- TRF factory long chassis

Both have the all the TRF options available and "not available"
I lost the count of parts i still have in boxes.

I luckily have Two, One NIB and one thats done about 10 club days - they drove excellent
From what i remember being told by the local TRF driver, not quite word for word but same meaning "Tamiya have noticed Many brands are entering the market, This Reduces market share and will Ultimately End our R&D"
From other chat, it sounded like there isnt enough money left in the shrinking market due to more brands so less money available to develop their 1/8 platform.

1/8 buggy has kinda been halted, The cars are not really any better than cars available in 2014 - maybe some for those onroad tracks that have jumps but thats not offroad, regardless of what anyone says thats just sh1t.
