I saw in a magazine just a month or 2 ago that had a quick release system for a buggy/truggy on it. I'll try to find it..

Houston, while I don't have a complaint about the stock Losi brakes... I wouldn't object to better ones. I like what Losi did with less rear brake. My buddy runs 2 disks on the front of his Jammin, but 1 rear... kinda the same principle as the different sizes in the Losi.
My brakes are strong enough (I have a decently stout servo on throttle/brake) to lock the front wheels... of course the rear has less brake, but that is what I prefer anyway... but the rear is just a touch weaker than I want. I don't want the rear to be able to lock, but a little more would be good... and no, it won't adjust to give me more, I've got it dialed about as well as I can.
Can you give us some more detail? I'm curious about an upgrade for what so far has been a decent stock system... I might be interested.

i am not just talking about more brakes , i am talking about a brake system that is smooth , won't fade , has plenty of stopping power and will be consistent for 30min,45min and hour long races . trust me it will be a great upgrade to your guys' losi vehicles

I'll be a local test pilot for ya.
I know my HOUSTON tuned NOVA has me still dialing in my brakes to compensate for the new found SPEED.
I just put springs in between my pads to try.Mike Stanton turned me on to that idea.I have yet to try it though.HE said it made his feel alot better.
oh ya,,,,,you are thick skinned

rs4; i am getting them produced within two weeks hopefully the whole brake system will consist of new rotors and new pads (calipers) , they will be available in a system or seperately . prices will be approx. 19.95 for the pads , around 10.95 for the rotors or 27.95 for the both . purchase two sets and receive another 2.00 discount .

Houston......
If you would, I will try your break setup for you. I will post in private and give you measured dimensions from start to finish.
Will also set criteria to maybe aid in the product's development. I think the brakes are a little lacking on the Losi as well. In long mains I can feel a little fade.
I race two times a week and usually get in 1 to 2 full days of practice on top of that.
I'm not the fastest guy by any means. However, when it comes to products and engineering, I'm there.
Let me know if I can help.

Tex is very meticulous at testing and documenting. He's the right guy to do this...
