Brood, ea,brahma and the likes with a 27locked timing, 2 mags etc., would they be TCS legal?

Fred said as long as it's locked timing and not hybrid hand wound armature and can be purchased at a LHS or online, it should be fine!

what about batteries?

I'd also be interested... It would be cool if someone could scan some of their baseline setup sheets and post 'm... I'm still having some on-power understeer, off-power oversteer issues.

noticed there are a couple of interesting hopups now available from Tamiya,
RC Carbon Mount Spacer - TA05 for Damper Stay
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=53882
why would we want to space the shock tower?
and
RC Aluminum Damper Retainer - 1mm Down Type
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=53876
I assume that these would be used to rectify the ride height issue?

i presume you space the shock tower so you wouldn't need spacers on the shock mounts...
there is a ride height issue even with the shorty springs??

ride height issue is only with the regular length springs.
if you use TRF shocks + short springs + regular retainers, you'll be set.
with the new retainers, i think we'll be able to use the TRF shocks and regular springs and fix the ride height issue. now where can i buy those so i can try it out?

Actually I believe the charcoal springs are harder.
#2309
Normally charcoal is harder than white, but they don't make the charcoal in the short type that Rod M mentioned.

I have a set of short charcoal springs that were purchased in a Tamiya bag maybe 1 year ago. Are they not TCS legal?
