Motiv has the best customer service
I just wanted to give my experience of Motiv customer service and in particular Paul.L
I emailed Paul regarding an issue with my MC3 and I attached a video. Paul responded within 2 days and decide to replace the motor. The issue was with the stator and didn’t think it needed replacing but he didn’t want to beat around the bush and wanted me to have a motor that was performing well.
I never exeprineced customer service like that before in RC.
Also the cherry on the cake is that he was happy to post it to the UK.

I love hearing stories like this,
also just another reason why I spend a little more for quality and customer service. Let's keep supporting companies w/ great customer service that are helping our hobby.

I do love Motiv's motors (my last Motiv motor came w/ a hand note stating where the best timing was for my motor, ...i've never adjusted it and it runs GREAT).

I recently contacted Paul with an issue on the 17.5 MC3 I was using in 12th scale. Paul replaced the sensor board and the rotor (which wasn't necessary, but he didn't like the look of it) and returned it quickly. I couldn't be happier with the service from Motiv.
Oh yeah, my car is a rocketship with that motor. Now I need to buy some skill to drive it.

Anyone compare the MC3 25.5 to the MC2? Thoughts?

MC3 is stronger than the MC2 25,5 and 21.5 that i have experience with.
Both MC3s have more bottom end than the MC2 but retained the top end.
I have 25.5s in both my F1 and VTA and i gained a tenth in both simply swapping to the MC3.
the 21.5 in my USGT id argue is a tenth or more faster than the MC2.
Other folks around the area have similar stories. They are fantastic and the shop i work at we can not keep any of them in stock from 25.5s down to 10.5s

I am starting to look for a new 25.5 VTA motor,
thinking the MC3 or the new XFactor from Trinity (which I have in my 17.5 and love), yet I have been using the MC2 for the past 2 seasons in my VTA with great results. Maybe I am splitting hairs at this point?!
Thoughts??

I have been running a Revtech since January and when I first got it I was running towards the front of the pack. Now that I've used it a bit and other guys have moved up to a MC3 I'm more mid to back of the pack. I just got my MC3 and I can't wait to try it out. I have overheard people say that the Revtech is good new but loses some power as it gets used and I think that's what I am experiencing.

trying again. Racing tomorrow and wanted to get some practice with the 17.5. The only reference I saw in this thread was for 3.95 FDR. Is that correct?
