Hopefully next week and will have the TC4 with the proto Hellion 190 body on it! Sweet looking body, no?

BTW - your car was looking sweet. Very controllable, very predictable, very fast. I was very impressed.
All I have to say about that...
Erik R./Thad G. - 10.9
Patt T. - 11.1
Me - 11.2
Chad - 11.3

My best lap time was three tenth's off of Erik's and Thad's best lap. I thought that was pretty fast. Along with being one tenth off of the eventual winner of the race's lap time...

Also, considering that Chad WAS running sway bars.

If I only wouldn't have broken in the A2... hahaha.

There's always next year, right?

Oh, and the Hellion body looked REALLY nice.

Ahh the rug, now you are talking. I wonder if there is too much chassis twist or too soft suspension in stock form for the rug? We use trinity congo springs when running foam on carpet..........

Wish I would have found this thread earlier... oh well, half the fun is figuring it out yourself!

I'm very impressed with this car - a very well thought out evolution to the TC3. Those complaining about sloppiness in the suspension arms/carriers/blocks - give me a break! How can you consider yourselves true hobbyists - sit down with a file, x-acto knife, and a shim kit. I'm most impressed with the rear traction this car has... I've always had issues with my cars being too loose over the years, even most recently my TC3. I've never been able to run at under 3 degrees rear toe. Now, I've done that front/rear block switch and am set at .5 degrees rear toe - dialed! Car seems so much more free... "floats" down the track. Still working on getting the turn-in exactly how I want it.

All this and I'm learning how to drive all over again - this time with a stick radio! I must be nuts.

Thanks, "stealth-lube" - we miss you back here in 'Sconsin!

Why don't you try the standard set-up that the kit comes with? Testing goes into what the car comes with, not just some parts thrown into a bag. You'd be surprised how close it probably is. I haven't run the car on rubber tires yet, but that's where I'll start.

You might want to try this one, It's Barry's setup from the Novak race when they still ran rubber for the TC3. You may be able to adjust it to work for the TC4

What class is the setup for? I ran my TC4 on asphalt once in 19t with a spool. It was pretty good. CS27s too.
