Hi guys struggling to find a mounting spot on my bd7 16 for the power caps? Looked at loads pics can't see where they are best being mounted. I am running an orca vx3 speedo and have the 20g centre weight on my car. Is upside down on the top deck good or better attached to the side of the speedo by double sided tape. Any help or pics appreciated thanks

What is the overall weight of the car? Mine was at 1422 without any added weight.
I have a hobbywing v3.1 120a ESC, Savox, D4, and intellect 7800mah pack on the aluminum chassis. The Gravity tires and wheels are a bit heavy compared to the Team Powers. So being at 1422 with no weights and you added 70 grams kinda blows my mind.

Carbon chassis, LRP 5600 LCG lipo, Muchmore Fleta Pro and 5.5T motor, Highest DLP650 direct fit servo, titanium turnbuckles and screws, steel screws in bottom, LTC-R LW body, Sorex 28 tires, Sanwa RX482 reciever, Mylaps transponder, WTF 4x4 motorfan mounted with MR33 fanholder.
What keeps weight down in my car is a very neat wiring setup (absolutely no excess of wires), the LRP lipo (very lightweight) and the direct fit servo, which eliminates the servomount.

I add some 60-70 grams depending on tires (Sorex, LRP, Volante) to meet the 1350 grams limit.

Just to follow up on this one. I was a little offended yesterday at the intimation that I am either cheating (over-width) or negligent and didn't trust my ability to respond nicely For the sake of clarity, I will explain further.
The car is very narrow with the stock blocks (3.5) - not even close to 190 mm. The 5.0 blocks also only add 1.5 mm (43.5 to 45.0 mm), so I am not even sure where the extra 3 mm you referenced (190 to 193 mm) would come from. With the standard 5.0 hubs and the 5.0/5.7 blocks with normal arms, my car is right around 188 mm.
(Note that Martin Hofer used this same setup at ICC on his 2016. Also note that if the 3.5 blocks made the car 190 mm, almost every setup you can find would be over-width, since everyone seems to be using the 4.2/4.9 combo or wider.)

Thanks for info on mounting power caps peeps got it done as suggested.
I am looking for a chassis fan mount for my bd7 16 any suggestions. I see Marka and samix make but for previous years. Will either of these fit or is there something better out there?

The days of taping to the chassis is over for me, although it is still the preferred method, most efficient and cheapest.

The R1 Wurks fan mount is what I use, by far the lightest and your fan doesn't sit on the chassis. Unfortunately it's always sold out at most places, best bet is to contact R1wurks.
