Need help with my Kyosho Inferno GT
Hey guys, i have a Kyosho inferno gt and is given me a lot of problems. I can't really run the car , cuz each time that i turn on the engine, it will turn off. I don't know if the problem is the needle or the idle mixture screws, I tried different way fixing the idle mixture screws. Sometime the car stay on, but when I push the throttle it will turn off. I need help please, what do you guys think is wrong with the car.

Will the engine stay running with the glow plug ignitor installed?

Leave the glow plug driver attached to the engine and if you can rev the engine with it hooked up then you need a hotter glow plug.

It's just a troubleshooting tool, an old glow plug will not burn as hot as a new plug the ignitor will keep the glow plug hot.

If so, turn the top needle 1/4 clockwise and repeat until it doesnt stall.
I've written many rookie tuning tips in the rookie section..
all start with.. 1mm idle gap.
If you want more info, just ask.

All of these previous tips look good but as I was rereading your description, I thought I would ask if you've checked your 'servo reverse'.....make sure that 'adding throttle' is not actually 'closing' the carb instead.
Good luck....

Check out the tuning bible, it should give ya a good place to start. But sounds like it could be a glow plug or just way too rich. Always remember to set your air gap at 1mm before ya start tuning.

The glow plug may be too cold. When you open the throttle, fresh fuel will enter the combustion chamber and if the plug is too cold it will cause the engine to flame out.
Leave the glow plug driver attached to the engine and if you can rev the engine with it hooked up then you need a hotter glow plug.
