Yup, it's me... I get a few glitches if my transmitter gets under 10 volts, and always at the same point on the track. The Chameleons come with diodes installed, at least the new black endbell pro tuned versions do. I would try some heavy grease on the heatsinks. It reduces vibration, and that may be enough to stop the radio noise.

At the carpet nats last week the motor of choice for 19t was the Trinity C2, I know I prefered F-brushes with a vertical slot in them, although alot of people ran putnam green/blue and had great sucess with it.
Although obviously a handwound adjustable timing motor will be faster, but if you have to run a ROAR legal or spec 19t motor the c2 is dialed! and you can actually get em oppose to the Reedy, lol.

Mark, I saw your 19T and all I can say was WOW. I heard they called the local police to issue you a speeding ticket and a ticket for careless driving for passing on the outside in the sweeper. Who built those motors they killer?

LMAO- thanks, I would like to give a HUGE shout out to John Tag (he spent every waking mintue making sure the entire team had power) and express (tmxpress.net) for the crazy amounts of rip i had all weekend, it just wasnt right how fast my motor and batteries were all weekend. And about that attempt, I figured it was worth trying, didnt pull it off, but hey, it was a cool photo-op, LOL.

I would almost want to doubt that a v2 would be as fast as a regular brushed 19t. For mod I was hearing those guys were going down a wind or two to get the equivilent power as a regular brushed motor. This is not to say that in mod that they are slow, since they can go down to compensate, however when you have a 19t limit i dont think its nessisarlly on an equal playing field compared to a Reedy, Trinity or the old Orion motor...

Agreed, only thing you can try is gearing up a few (or a lot ) teeth compared to "regular" 19T motor.

but if you orer gear it will burn the brushes .i have heard if you
heat the brushes a little more then normal thier junk

i have a dyno-charge and if i compare the element to any of my
stock motor the stocks kill it in max rpm. that shouldn't be?
element:max rpm 10967@3 volts
hellfire:max rpm 12587@3 volts
weird:

tom..
my Monster stock shows more rpm at no load on the APS dyno charger than both of my 19T quad mags and my C2.
Best place to dyno is on the track..

When I dyno either one the RPM's are about the same. Now look at the Watts. The MOnster will pull about 115 watts plus @ 28amps where the C2 based 19turn I can get 140 + Watts. @ 28 amps. The 19 turn wasnt designed for RPM's like the Monster , the 19 was to provide more overall "RIP"

thanks for all your help.
do you think it would do better if i put a regular end bell on it?
