are these the same. My losi bottle says 5000 cs and I have a bottle of team associated but it says 5000 cst. Are these the same?

Yes, cSt is a standard measurement regardless of brand and you can use this value for the shock fluid too, I only use cSt on my setup sheets, note that AE 40W = 500cSt:



I don't buy any brand of fluid that doesn't post the cSt value.

I'm not finding the thicker diff oils on their site, like 100k and 200k. Am I missing something or do they not produce those weights?

Try emailing customer service. I honestly don't know if they make anything thicker than 30k.

Both pretty similar although it's always a good rule of thumb to stock the same mfg of oil across the board to keep things really consistent. Only when you need an inbetween cst that isn't available in that range should you venture out.

Greetings all. I'm new to four-wheel drive if you don't count the yokomo dog fighter I had in 1985. I was going to ask if there is a conversion chart between CST and SAE oil weights but then I decided I would quit being so lazy and go look for one. Found this. I imagine it's as good of a conversion as any other?
