It looks like you can mount the battery either down the center or side to side. On my last car we only had a center battery adjustment. So If the battery fits down the middle that's the first spot I'll locate the battery. As for the front servo thanks for the advise Pro Ten, I'll mount the servo with my angle mounts.Sure wish the car would get here before next weekend.

The laydown servo configuration seems to work well on carpet (high traction)

What would you say if you could get the best from both?

I can make that happen.

The car comes with a top deck for the main chassis for stick pack mounting.

It does seem as if more people are running 200mm but I dont think 235mm will die out. I think they were around way before the 200mm's were, way back to the late 80s. After all, the TC's used to be converted 235mm buggies before they went to a girly 190mm. I fail to see the point of the 200mm class as they look to much like TC's. They should have just tried to re-launch the 235mm pan's instead of creating this new 200mm class that has just added another class into a reasonably poorly followed hobby.
2s modified 235 is the only way for me.

Anyway the new Corally car looks great. The carbon side links look a little fragile though. Can they be replaced with nylon ones for a little bit of flexibility?

Actually the 200mm were raced in the late 80's.back then they were called 1/11tth and Associated raced them at the worlds -I believe. We also had several run in our series (FSEARA).As for the Carbon fiber links I think I would prefer them.Especially how they connect with the O ring. Having raced another brand and being hit they pop off. Having a small wing would prevent the link from being broken and I have the parts waiting. Most oval cars had these or still have them.

I totally agree with you here. However, now that everyone seems to be running 200mm cars I think the wide will soon be gone forever.

They will still be around for Euro large asphalt tracks where they have a lot more power to lay down. And oval.

The O-rings provide the flexing in a crash. I haven't had any problems with them.
The pivot balls did need a bit of polisching for them to move freely, but after that it was one the smoothest play-free link systems I have ever seen.

The 200mm cars were run as prototypes by Associated and HPI at the 1996 worlds at Ontario/California. But in the end a 235mm car did won the worlds.
